Liz is an active member of a number of the Firm's committees, including the Social Mobility Committee – which aims to help those both inside and outside the Firm achieve their potential irrespective of their background. She has also advised clients on a pro bono basis including victims of image-based sexual abuse, immigration/human rights issues, family law and B Corporation legal certification. Liz trained at the Firm before qualifying into the Family department and has previously advised clients on matters relating to corporate law, real estate litigation, reputation and crisis management, and both private client and commercial disputes. She is a member of Resolution – an organisation which believes in a constructive, non-confrontational approach to family law matters and campaigns for improvements to the family justice system. Liz is part of the department's Abuse and Coercive Control Behaviour specialist group, as well as the Surrogacy and Modern Families team – working on cases involving these elements, as well as building a network of third-party experts in these fields.

Liz has experience with cases determined in the Family Court, High Court and through alternative dispute resolution processes. Liz has experience working with a wide range of clients and much of her work has an international element. Liz drafts and advises clients on pre- and post-nuptial agreements, as well as cohabitation agreements and disputes. She advises on all aspects of family law, including divorce and dissolution of civil partnerships financial remedy proceedings private law proceedings for children, including contact and living arrangements and modern family-building, including surrogacy and assisted reproduction (on which she has written a number of articles and spoken on panels). Liz is an Associate in the Family team of the Mishcon Private department.
